Acceptable Use Policy/ Child Safety

Welcome to Evie's blog.  Our aim is to encourage children to share their joy, reviews and enthusiasm for children's books in a safe and managed environment.  Please read the 10 rules below before interacting with Evie's blog to keep the blog child friendly and remain focused on child safety at all times.  

1)     We don't post any personal information online or respond to requests for personal information. We will never request any personal information from you.  

2)      We consider carefully before posting pictures or videos to ensure appropriate content for our readers and request that our readers do the same in their responses.  All responses are moderated.  Any inappropriate responses/images will be reported. 

3)      Evie will respond to comments from children through the moderator.  Evie won't befriend any respondent. 

6)      Evie won't contact any respondent off blog. 

7)      Evie won't arrange a personal meeting with any respondent off blog. Any one requesting a personal meeting will be blocked and reported where appropriate.  

8)      Please think carefully about what you say before you post something online. Any respondent making any inappropriate or rude comments will be blocked and if deemed necessary, reported.  

9)      If at any point comments are deemed by the moderator to make Evie or the moderator feel uncomfortable, unsafe or worried they will be blocked and where appropriate, reported.  

10)    No child should participate in this blog without the knowledge and permission of a responsible adult.  

You must read 'Evie's Rules' and our 'Acceptable Usage Policy' in the tab menu before interacting. Any comments/ interaction assume your acceptance of these rules/ statements.
